B14’s at Rutland 22/23rd March
Cold start to the 2014 Circuit!
A compact B14 fleet arrived at Rutland to find much colder conditions than previous weekends and a depleted turnout with a range of excuses from buying new houses through to too cold to get out of bed. For many it was the first sail since the Inlands in October following a winter of hibernation.
UK TT 2014 Round 1: Rutland 22nd/23rd March
Spring has sprung, the weather's suddenly got warm(ish). Time for those of us that have been in hibernation to dig the kit out of the garage, find sails and see if we can still remember how to sail, whilst hoping those that have spent the winter "practising" (tsk) haven't got too good. Our first event is at Rutland (forum thread link) on the 22nd/23rd March. Past experience says that this can either be gloriously warm and sunny, or stunningly cold. Reading the tea leaves, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict warmth and sunshine. Please help us in planning by signing up for food.
And now a message about the 2015 Worlds
Ed - It's pure genius.. More details on container and costs to follow shortly so we can all start planning to be there!
